Plaques

Plaques are typically 4in (101.6mm) wide x 12in (304.8mm) long, gated at the narrow end. They are usually injection-molded. These dimensions are best for inducing fully developed flow in filled plastics. Plaques as short as 8in (203.2mm) long have been shown to work). If orientation is not a concern, other size plaques or processing methods can be used. At minimum, 4in x 4in square or 100mm x100mm square plaques are required.
