Tensile test plaque

Plaques are typically 101.6mm (4in) wide x 304.8mm (12in) long, gated at the narrow end. They are usually injection-molded. These dimensions are best for inducing fully developed flow in filled plastics. If this is not a concern, square plaques of 149mm x 149mm (5.87in x 5.87in) may be used.

Specimens are typically cut from plaques by DatapointLabs, as shown in the drawings.
