Samples

Torsional DMA samples

Samples are typically ASTM flex bars or ISO flex bars. Specimens can also be prepared from the gage section of ASTM D638 Type I or ISO 527 Type 1A tensile bars, or may be machined from flat sheet or plaques.

Note: For soft, rubber-like materials and soft foams, 25mm diameter disks or sheets can also be used.
