No-Flow Temperature

Description
This test determines the approximate no flow temperature of a material. The barrel of the rheometer is heated to the lowest processing temperature of the material. The material is loaded into the barrel and given a six-minute hold time, to ensure the material is completely molten. The material is allowed to cool slowly. A pressure is periodically applied to check for flow of material. The no flow temperature is achieved when the flow rate is less than 2mm/min at a pressure of 130 bar.
