Universal TestPak-Hyperelastic (Incompressible)
Test ID
G-432
Description
This TestPak generates uniaxial tensile stress-strain, planar shear, and uniaxial compression data, which are then fitted to the Mooney-Rivlin, Ogden, or third-order polynomial models, as appropriate. Input files are provided for use with ANSYS software, Simulia (Abaqus/CAE) software, Nastran software, and SolidWorks software.
Included Tests
1x | M-205 | Tensile Properties of Elastomers |
1x | M-212 | Compressive Properties of Elastomers |
1x | M-220 | Planar Tension (Shear) |
Options
Biaxial tension may be substituted for uniaxial compression when needed. Volumetric compression can be added to this TestPak to account for confined compression behavior.
Samples
: 6 molded discs (25mm diam.)
[details]: 6 thin sheets or film
[details]: 6 rubber tensile bars
[details]Application
Use this TestPak to generate data required to analyze applications requiring a hyperelastic model to account for structural behavior of materials which exhibit very high deformation. These materials are considered to be completely elastic, meaning that they show full recovery after being stretched multiple times.
