Universal TestPak-Hyperelastic (Compressible)
Test ID
G-434
Description
This TestPak generates uniaxial tensile stress-strain, planar shear, uniaxial compression, and volumetric PVT data, which are then fitted to the Mooney-Rivlin, Ogden, or third-order polynomial models, as appropriate. Input files are provided for use with ANSYS software, Simulia (Abaqus/CAE) software, Nastran software, and SolidWorks software.

[details]Application
Use this TestPak to generate data required to analyze applications requiring a hyperelastic model with compressibility to account for behavior of a hyperelastic material which is forced into a confined space and undergoes volumetric compression. Typical use cases are for O-rings, high pressure seals, and shock absorbers. These materials are considered to be completely elastic, meaning that they show full recovery after being stretched multiple times.
