NX Nastran Hyperelastic (Compressible) (MATHP)
Test ID
G-939
Description
In modeling situations where the material is highly confined, it is often necessary to model both the deviatoric and volumetric behavior in order to obtain accurate results. This TestPak includes tensile stress-strain curves, compressive stress-strain curves and a planar tension test. Data is fit to a Mooney-Rivlin model. Additionally, volumetric compressive stress-strain data are measured. The stress-strain data is provided in both tabulated and graphical forms, and fit to a Mooney-Rivlin model.

[details]Application
The MATHP model specifies parameters for use with simulation of hyperelastic materials that experience large deformation with confined compression. The model is intended to be used for rubber-like material (elastomers). The model incorporates only the Mooney-Rivlin model with a density parameter.
