Description
Properties needed to perform a VISI Flow injection mold-filling/holding simulation are generated. These include viscosity vs. shear rate at three temperatures (two in the processing range and one below); melt thermal conductivity, specific heat and latent heat if applicable, a no-flow temperature, an eject temperature, and PVT data. Thermal diffusivity is calculated.

According to the software supplier, this module allows the user to optimize the filling, holding and cooling conditions (time, temperature, pressure, etc.), minimize the dimensions of the sprue and cold runners, simulate hot and insulated runners, compute clamping force and its evolution during the filling and holding phase.
