SIMPOE Thermoplastic Filling Analysis with Warpage
Test ID
G-244
Description
Properties needed to perform a mold filling and post filling analysis are generated. These include: Viscosity vs. shear rate at three temperatures (two in the processing range and one below), specific heat and transition analysis, thermal conductivy, and specific volume vs. temperature and pressure (PVT), anisotropic modulus and Poisson's ratio and anisotropic thermal expansion. Viscosity data is fit to a Cross material model and PVT data is fit to the modified Tait model for easy implementation into the software.

Options
Samples
: 0.5 kg of pellets
[details]: 10 plaques (4 x 12in)
[details]Application
The filling and post filling warpage properties allow the user to simulate the flow of polymer through runners and fill the mold cavity, pressurize the cavity, and determine the warpage and shrinkage of the part.
