Description
A universal testing machine (UTM) is used to determine and report flexural modulus. Test specimens can be molded or cut from sheets or plates, as per specifications. Sample is placed on span. The UTM crosshead with single point is lowered until just above specimen. The test is performed at a constant velocity corresponding to the required strain rate. Load and corresponding specimen deflection are recorded. Five replicates are performed.
