Description
This model is used to describe the creep behavior of a material. Creep modulus is determined from time-based visco-elastic measurments performed over a range of temperatures. A master-curve is established using time-temperature superposition. This model is used in ABAQUS as an option of the *VISCOELASTIC model (TIME=CREEP TEST DATA).

This model provides a short term means to predict the long term change in modulus of a material with time. It must be used with the *ELASTIC model [G-705]. Since the test is conducted using small deformations and in the elastic region, the model may not be valid for predicting large scale plastic deformation.
