Altair RADIOSS Hyperelastic Model with Viscoelasticity (Law 42)
Test ID
G-607
Description
Tensile stress-strain and compressive stress-strain curves are performed at quasi-static speeds. A viscoelastic master curve is generated on a DMA through TTS. Both sets of test data are fit to a hyperelastic material model and a Prony series viscoelastic material model.
Included Tests
1x | D-010 | Solid Density |
1x | M-205 | Tensile Properties of Elastomers |
1x | M-211 | Lubricated Compressive Stress-Strain (Biaxial Tension) |
1x | M-611 | Stress Relaxation/Creep Compliance by Time Sweeps |
Options
For additional costs, the model can be customized to include non-ambient temperatures.
Samples
: 6 molded discs (25mm diam.)
[details]: 6 rubber tensile bars
[details]Application
Many times it is desired to simulate the deformed material with the effect of time included. Use cases such as sealing applications and impact loading of hyperelastic materials can be performed using this material model.
