Universal TestPak-Injection Molding of Anisotropic Materials
Test ID
U-061
Description
The Universal Molding TestPak is intended to provide test data and material models that can be used in a wide range of injection molding softwares. These include Autodesk Moldflow, Moldex3D, Simpoe-Mold, and SOLIDWORKS Plastics. This TestPak includes allows the user to simulate all phases of the injection molding process: Filling, Pack/Cool, and Warp/Shrink. NOTE: Viscoelastic simulations performed inside SIGMASOFT are not included in this TestPak. This TestPak provides Moldflow Gold-Gold-Gold .udb files. TestPak U-063 must be added for GMW16355.
Included Tests

Options
Additional CRIMS testing can be added with TestPak U-063. Additional properties for SIGMASOFT can be added with TestPak U-064. Bagley correction test data for Juncture Loss calculation in Moldflow can be added through U-065 TestPak.
Samples
: 2 kg of pellets
[details]: 15 plaques (4 x 12in)
[details]Application
Use this TestPak to generate data required to analyze every phase of the molding operation, including filling, packing, cooling, shrinkage and warpage, and where available, post-mold opening. The effects of fiber orientation are taken into account, providing data that can be used to predict anisotropic shrinkage and warpage due to fiber fillers.
