Thermal Conductivity of Films by Guarded Heat Flow Meter
Test ID
T-110
Description
A film specimen measuring 2" diameter is placed between glass plates of known thermal resistance and the thermal conductivity is measured for the composite of glass and film using the guarded heat flow meter. The test is then repeated for various different number of layers. Due to the difference in thermal resistance, the thermal conductivity of the single layer of film is calculated. This test is performed at up to six temperatures.
