Description
Properties needed to perform a VISI Flow injection mold-filling and cooling simulation are generated. These include viscosity vs. shear rate at three temperatures (two in the processing range and one below); melt thermal conductivity, specific heat and latent heat if applicable, melt and solid density, a no-flow temperature, and an eject temperature. Thermal diffusivity is calculated.

According to VISI Flow, this module allows the user to optimize the filling and holding conditions (time, temperature, pressure, etc.), minimize the dimensions of the sprue and cold runners, simulate hot and insulated runners, compute clamping force and its evolution during the filling.
