Description
This option allows the definition of a strain rate dependent yield stress, for use in dynamic and flow (for example, extrusion) problems. The zero strain rate yield stress is given on the ISOTROPIC and ORTHOTROPIC options. This TestPak includes Yield Stress at three strain rates, used to develop a Yield Stress vs. Strain Rate table.

Additional Strain Rate data may be added for an additional cost.
If this TestPak is used with the ORTHOTROPIC model [G-905], the cost is double, as testing must be performed in both the flow and transverse directions.

This model is used to describe the linear rate dependencies of a material. It is useful when the material will be subjected to varying loading rates. Either the Linear ISOTROPIC model [G-901] or the ORTHOTROPIC model [G-905] must be used along with this TestPak.
