In-Plane Shear Stress-Strain, Strength and Modulus by Tensile test of a ±45° laminate
Test ID
M-204C_45
Description
An aligned universal testing machine (UTM) is used to determine modulus, Shear Strength at 5% shear strain or break, and stress-strain curves for composite materials. Testing is performed per ASTM D3518. The test specimen is loaded between the grips of the UTM. A non contact extensometer is used to measure strain both axially and transversely. Adhesively bonded tabbing is not included in this test. Please call if this process is required for your material.
