Specific Heat for GM applications
Test ID
T-015 GM
Description
A differential scanning calorimeter is used to heat or cool the material over a temperature range, while measurements of heat flow are made. Specimens are heated to 50°C below the melting point and held there for annealing for 2 hours.
Options
Heating/cooling rates may be specified.
Standards
- ASTM E1269
- ISO 11357-4
Data
Specific Heat v. Temperature Curve, Specific Heat v. Temperature Data, Transition End, Transition Onset, Transition Peak, Transition Temperature. This data appears in Matereality as Specific Heat.
