Altair Mullins Effect Add-on
Test ID
G-623
Description
The three modes of hyperelastic deformation used in either G-620 or G-621 are pre-cycled 5 times at 5 incremental strain levels. The default maximum strain for tensile and planar shear is 100% strain and 40% strain for biaxial tests.
Included Tests
3x | M-621 | Cyclic Mullins Effect |
Options
Samples
: 5 thin sheets or film
[details]Application
Mullins effect testing allows for the capture of strain softening that occurs in many hyperelastic materials. This data can be used to simulate the behavior observed when a part is loaded initially and subsequent loadings.
