LS-DYNA SAMP-1 Semi-Analytical Model for Plastic (MAT_187)
Test ID
G-778
Description
Tensile experiments are carried out over a range of strain rates ranging into the high speed impact regime. Tests include three stress-strain measurements in the .01-1 /s strain rate range and two high speed tensile stress-strain curves in the 10-100 /s range covering a total strain rate range of five decades. Additionally, an unloading curve is generated at quasi-static speed as well as Poisson's ratio (transverse strain) data extending into the plasticity region. Compression and shear stress-strain data are provided to describe the yield surface of the material.
Please note that requesting strain rates that would produce test speeds below 1 mm/min may result in additional charges

[details]Application
SAMP-1 is indicated for plastics where the user seeks a highly defined quantification of post yield behavior coupled with a complete description of the yield surface including compression and shear.
